Brighton Wedding Photography – Trish & Chris 8th September 2012

Blessed with a beautiful warm late summers day for the wedding of Trish & Chris on 8th September. Trish got ready at the Black Lion in Patcham, followed by a civil ceremony at the registry office at Bartholemew Square with a reception at the King and Queen. Been a while since I’ve been at the King and Queen and forgot how interesting it is on the inside. Challenging from a lighting perspective, so brought along all the light stands to avoid using on-camera flash. Some of the images where taken using natural light coming through the stained glass windows – plenty of drama there.

The day wasn’t without its stresses, I hit a kerb on the way to the venue, you have never seen a wheel changed so fast! Getting from the black lion to the registry office was fraught, EVERYONE decided to go down to Brighton it being probably the hottest day of the year, luckily I have a bit of knowledge of the cut throughs/rat runs and places to park.
